I have been living and photographing in the western North Carolina area since 2003. My subject matter is pretty eclectic -- some of these images are because of the light, some are because of the beauty of the color or form, and some are just because I thought they were weird or humorous or otherwise interesting.
You can see my work in Brevard at Number 7 Arts Gallery where I've been a member since March, 2016. I conduct presentations and do individual coaching on the art and craft of photography, and coordinate the programs and speakers at the Land of Waterfalls Camera Club in Brevard. Some of that activity is humorous and interesting as well.
Just for the record... my photography has been published in Our State North Carolina magazine, Blue Ridge Country magazine, and in the Blue Ridge Travel Guide. I've also exhibited at Bluewood Photography in Brevard, the Turchin Art Gallery at Appalachian State University, and at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville.
